When Ning planned to discontinue its free tier, Fuzzy proposed collaborating to revive Furry United based on their custom architecture. At this time, Bark was approximately 18 or 19 years old and primarily familiar with phpBB and PHP-Nuke from their early teenage years. While Bark had experience writing websites in PHP, Fuzzy's codebase exceeded their understanding.

The collaboration ultimately ended due to Bark's frustrations with the complexity of the original architecture. Despite parting ways, Bark's unintended relaunch of Furry United paved the way for MyFur Network and influenced their decision to focus [[Tigerpaw Studios|TPaw]] on social networking.
