The Caseyverse, also known as Casey Universe, is a fictional, public domain universe created by Tony Bark. It serves as the setting for numerous stories and games. Named after Bark’s first character and fursona, the Caseyverse was developed to address the significance of various locations in what would become Bridgeport, located on the island of Nethington, as seen in his first short story, Sunset.

Bark has waived all copyrights to his world, characters, artifacts, and other copyrightable elements under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license, also known as the public domain dedication. He believes that the life+X law is unfair to artists, as it requires them to enforce their works for their entire lives, which he considers a waste of time for a single individual. Bark sees the internet as providing viable alternatives for patronage, making monetary incentives from copyright less necessary for solo creators or small teams.
