Mirabel Republic, or simply the Republic, is a fictional egalitarian government by Tony Bark.

Government

The Republic is a complex Byzantine bureaucracy with a Parliamentary system that encourages free and lively debate. The society believes in the concept of Shared Burdens, an equitable distribution of resources, making little to no distinction between the needs of rulers and ruled. The government's council features seats for Minister of State, Head of Research, and Minister of Defense, as well as two additional seats. Though a Pacifist, the Republic's defenses are quite strong.
