	Although Max’s backstory was originally intended to be set at one of Bridgeport’s universities, Bark’s supporting characters weren’t ready because he spent too much time on the world. He used his ongoing merging of Piti Yindee’s Wuffle canon into the Caseyverse to work around the dilemma. Bark’s solution was to tweak his origin story so he still initially lived in the city and only later to moved to Gingerbread Village, where he used to vacation at, in order to get away from the constant spotlight.
