In the Caseyverse, anthropomorphic animals, birds, fish, and even more fantastical creatures are all dominant species that coexist together within the world across varying regions. Culture at its highest level is represented by what separates each representative species. Subcultures would remain relatively the same. For example, foxes in general would have a common identity, while different species within a broader family of foxes would each have their own distinct culture. Think of it like a nation having one thing in common, while broader regions or states having distinct cultures and histories within. Within Nethington, Brie Town, a primary mouse district within Bridgeport, culture is mostly centered around scavenging and collecting. Meanwhile, the WhiteBlaze Fennec, a blue Fennec (though technically its own distinct species) with glowing markings, has a culture that is partially based on displaying these features both for mating rituals and everyday activity.
